All of our classes are priced at $30 per class for 2023.
Starting January 2024, class prices will be $35 per class. Enrollment is on a month-to-month basis. Withdrawing from class requires a 14-day notice.
Keep in mind an additional supply fee may apply to select classes!

Schemas are still used to create drawings, but they become more complex. Overlapping and spatial relationships are more apparent. Children begin to add more details and depth to their work.
The children now have a clear idea of the shape of each object they are trying to convey. A drawing schema is often present in their work. Children will start to develop a specific order of decision-making and execution for their art. Artists use spatial understanding to decide where objects should go. Children at this age continue to learn about sizing.
At this age, children grow and learn how to become more independent artists. Children's drawings begin to reveal patterns. It is not uncommon for children to draw patterns and then label them as representations of things. Children begin drawing figures by merging circles and lines. Initially, these figures appear simple and symbolic. It is common for children's first figures to be unrealistic or lacking in detail.
It is important for children to learn to control lines and shapes at this age in order to create masterpieces. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are being developed by the children. Using still life, landscapes, and 3D elements, they make simple forms and shapes. Creating their color palettes also requires them to explore colors and mix them.
